Simon and Lauren are enjoying a romantic vacation together in the south of France, as they made their first public outing together since their pregnancy was announced on July 31, Us Weekly reports.

The "X Factor" judge, 53, and New York City socialite, 36, shared a public kiss and held hands while grabbing lunch together on Sunday.

Lauren wrapped her arms around Cowell's neck as they shared a kiss while dining together.

She's also been sporting flowy, pretty maternal dresses as she walked hand-in-hand with Cowell through the south of France.

Silverman just finalized her divorce two weeks ago, from property millionaire and ex-friend of Cowell's, Andrew Silverman. They were married for 10 years and share a seven-year-old son.

Cowell said at the "One Direction: This Is Us" London premiere, "I'm proud to be a dad [...] It's something I hadn't thought of before, but now I know I feel good about it," The Huffington Post reports.

"I'm happy and excited," Cowell told Us Weekly at the premiere on August 20 about becoming a dad. "It's a great time in my life," he added.

The child they are expecting together and their long-term affair may suggest the couple will be getting married sometime soon.

While neither Cowell nor Silverman has talked about marriage to the press, a source told People magazine that the vacationing pair are definitely together for the long run.

"They are making plans together," the source said, "for the future, for themselves, and the baby."
