PlayStation Plus Free Games: ‘Assassin’s Creed 3’ Enters Sony’s European Instant Game Collection Today, August 28; Machinarium Free For US Subscribers

Today, European subscribers will get new PlayStation Plus free games such as Assassin's Creed 3.

PlayStation Plus free games for the month of September has been announced both for the European members and the US/Canada subscribers. For the European's list of PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, the free titles offered for subscribers are Ubisoft's hit adventure game, "Assassin's Creed 3."

Furthermore, gamers will also be able to get PlayStation Plus free games such as Jak And Daxter Collection for PS3 owners, as well as "Urban Trial Lifestyl" and "New Little King's Story" for PS Vita users. Moreover, "Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark" will also join the list of PlayStation Plus free games for September.

Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus free games for US and Canadian subscribers were released yesterday, August 27. PS Vita owners can download "Machinarium" for free, giving them a chance to experience the award-winning adventure title from Amanita Design.

But aside from PlayStation Plus free games such as the indie title, Machinarium, offered for US and Canadian gamers, each member can also download a number of great titles for a discounted price. For instance, Spelunky will finally arrive in Sony consoles this week, as reported by Joystiq. It will be part of the PS Vita Summer Select promotion, where players can get it from $14.99 to a discounted price of $11.99 for a week. Spelunky can be grabbed for the PS Vita for a discounted price, and as a cross-buy title, players can also download it for the PlayStation 3 without any additional fee.

The zombie slicing game, Draw Slasher is also available for a discounted price. Penny-Arcade Adventures, Closure, Dyad and Zombie Tycoon 2 also gets a price off for PlayStation Plus members this week.
