Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Specs: Korean Phablet Rumored To Record 4K Videos, Also Features Hi Quality Audio

For Korean manufacturer, being popular enough to be talked about all over the Internet is not enough to secure its place as the undisputable number one mobile phone manufacturer. And for its upcoming Galaxy Note 3, Samsung is not taking any chances.

According to Korea Economic Daily, the upcoming Android device would be able to shoot 4K quality (UHD) videos. Although there has not been any reports to confirm or dismiss the rumor, it is still very likely for the smartphone manufacturer giant to include the feature.

Just recently, Sony unveiled that its new phone Xperia Z1, otherwise known as Honami, will also feature 4K video recording. And while the Japanese manufacturer is still far from being a serious contender for Samsung, the latter is focused not to give any room where the latter can sneak in and capture its market.

And while Samsung has been competiting with Sony specs-wise, it has also added another feature that will surely keep audiphiles interested. According to the same report, the Galaxy Note 3 will also support 24-bit/192KHz sound for higher quality music, effects and entertainment.

It will just be a few days until we confirm if these rumors are true. Samsung will announce its new phone on September 4 in Berlin, including the company's first SmartWatch.
