Minecraft PS4: Sony Fans Excited With PlayStation 4 Version Of Mojang’s Hit Open-World Indie Game; Also Arriving To PS3 And PS Vita

Minecraft PS4 version will definitely arrive.

According to a post from Mojang, the rumors are true that Minecraft PS4 version is currently in development. Aside from arriving to Sony PS4, the Minecraft for PS3 and PS Vita are already in the works.

Moreover, Minecraft PS4 version will come to Sony's next-generation console at launch, as announced by the PlayStation 4 maker during its Gamescom press conference.

The release of Minecraft PS4 version was initially announced during Sony's press conference for Gamescom this year. Reportedly, Minecraft PS4 version will be released coinciding with the launch of next-gen Sony gaming system, slated to happen on November 15. Mojang later revealed that aside from Minecraft PS4 version, the open-world game will also have versions for PS3 and PS Vita.

A report from The Examiner revealed that 4J Studios will port Mojang's open-world sandboxvideo game to Sony's three popular game platforms, the PS3, PS Vita and the upcoming PS4.

Official details regarding Minecraft PS4, PS3 and PS vita versions are not yet revealed but Owen from Mojang (@bopogamel) said that they will be posted as soon as they are ready to share dates and details about it the game.

Furthermore, it was previously announced that Minecraft for Xbox One will also arrive. Minecraft was launched on PC in 2011 as an early access alpha. It is also launched on Android, iOS and Xbox 360 platforms. Just this month, the game already passed 8 million sales on Xbox Live Arcade.

The 3rd-all things Minecraft event, the Minecon 2013, is already set to happen on November 2-3 at Orange County Convention Center. Fans of the Mojang game might be able to hear more about Minecraft for PS4, PS3 and PPS Vita during the event.
