Why Is The Pokemon X And Y English Demo Not Available On The Nintendo eShop? Pokemon New Rumble U Passwords Unveiled

As Pokemon X and Y prepare for its release October 12, another Nintendo Pokemon game is making waves: Pokemon Rumble U.

Although Pokemon Rumble U will not be released in North America until August 29, it has already been released in Europe (August 15), and the UK GAME stores are releasing passwords for special bonus Pokemon to use in battle.

13307436: This password unlocks a Charizard with the moves Blast Burn and Dragon Claw, and has the Gift ability as well as Power of 1000.

55188682: This password unlocks the Rumble U Pokemon Hydreigon. Like Charizard, it has Power of 1000 and the Gift ability, but with the moves Dark Pulse and Draco Meteor.

So far, reviews for Pokemon Rumble U have been mixed, with some complimenting its simple but fun gameplay.

Others, like David Jenkins of Metro, however, are calling it "the worst Nintendo game ever made!"

But in other news, one thing fans have been clamoring over is the Pokemon X and Y demo, which has been showcased at the Pokemon Game Show as well as Gamescom.

Through the demo, fans have caught glimpses of what the English version of Pokemon X and Y would bring, and many are hoping the demo makes its way to the online eShop.

However, it appears the hype and buzz from all the demo videos that are online by now may just have to be enough, as Nintendo doesn't seem to be planning on releasing it on the Nintedo eShop anytime soon.

According to Pokejungle user heavymetallamb, upon asking Nintendo about the Pokemon X and Y demo, the E-mail response was vague and didn't seem to indicate any sign of Pokemon X and Y appearing on the eShop before the release.

"Thanks for contacting us. I can certainly understand your excitement about Pokemon X and Pokemon Y and wanting to see a demo for the games. Please note that game demos are not available for all titles," says the official response to the inquiry.

"To view a list of available titles, open the Nintendo eShop and search the keyword "Demo." The Nintendo eShop will be periodically updated with new game demos, so be sure to check for updates."

So, it seems fans will just have to wait a little bit longer before trying out the game themselves this October.
