A photo of Will Smith, Jaden Smith, and Willow Smith reacting to an MTV VMA performance went viral...but some information may have been wrong.

The viral photo shows Will and his two children looking stunned and/our appalled during the show at Sunday Night's MTV VMAs.

It was reported that the viral shot was taken during Miley Cyrus's controversial set alongside Robin Thicke, which conservative pundits and various family members have been freaking out about.

However, US Weekly now says that the pic was taken during one of Lady Gaga's multiple costume changes of the night for her "Applause" performance.

Thus, the shocked look is....awe, not twerking terror? Possibly?

Lady Gaga's performance was certainly tamer than Miley Cyrus'.
