“Dancing with the Stars” season 17 cast rumors are buzzing with the word that Snooki, Christina Milian and Jack Osbourne have signed on. But reports are saying that recently overcooked chef Paula Deen turned down the chance to shimmy back into America’s hearts on “Dancing with the Stars” season 17.

Star magazine reported that the director Jack Osbourne will step out from behind the camera to shake his thing on “Dancing with the Stars” season 17. Snooki was also named to come out of the tanning booth to join “Dancing with the Stars” season 17 and the singer Christina Milian and Jack Osbourne were also reported to be joining the hit dance competition on ABC.

MTV reality star Snooki hasn’t confirmed the “Dancing with the Stars” season 17 cast rumor. Snooki gave birth to a son, Lorenzo, with co-star JWoww in August last year. So “Dancing with the Stars” might be the perfect way to get rid of that post-baby bump.

Christine Milian was most recently on NBC doing a gig as social media correspondent on “The Voice.” Milian has been at that for the past four seasons. The singer said she "couldn't say no" when “Dancing with the Stars” offered a spot on season 17. A source told Star magazine. "It's such a big opportunity for her."

According to a “Dancing with the Stars” insider, who talked to Star magazine, Jack Osbourne is "excited for the journey. He's been through a rough time with his multiple sclerosis diagnosis, and is anxious to prove that nothing can stop him."

“Dancing with the Stars” season 17 cast rumors have also included Farrah Abraham, the star of “Teen Mom,” who recently told Enstars that viewers will "find out this week" whether she will be joining the cast list. Another “Dancing with the Stars” season 17 cast rumors involves former baseball player Jason Varitek. “Full House” star John Stamos is also on “Dancing with the Stars” season 17 cast rumors list, but my personal favorite has to be Seth MacFarlane, the creator, writer, illustrator and voice on “Family Guy.”

An insider told Us Weekly that Paula Deen turned down an offer to appear on “Dancing with the Stars” season 17. The source said she refused to appear because "the dance floor is not the appropriate forum for her."

Last week Kym Johnson, a professional dancer, said she won’t be competing on “Dancing with the Stars” season 17 because she took a better offer. She told Us Weekly that she had to "to accept an amazing opportunity back in Australia." Kym Johnson took to Twitter on Sunday to say she’ll be taking “Dancing with the Stars” down under as a judge.

On Aug. 25 she tweeted "So excited to share with you my new project, I will be a judge on DWTS Australia #istillcallaustraliahome."

Kym Johnson first danced on the Australian “Dancing with the Stars” for the first three season and won season two. She joined “Dancing with the Stars” season 3 in Los Angeles, Calif., and won Mirror Ball trophy twice. The first time with Donny Osmond in 2009 and again in 2011 with Hines Ward in 2011. She is the only “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer to win the trophy in two different countries.
