Apple iOS 7 Update: iOS 7.0.2 Rolls Out On Apple Products To Resolve Lockscreen Security Issue, Now Available For Download

If you own a lower generation iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and you just updated your device to iOS 7, you may have felt really worried about the security flaw that users found out in the platform's lockscreen one day after the update. Apparently, anyone can gain access to the device's camera app, gallery, and even a few social networking and sharing apps.

More than a week later, Apple was able to respond by releasing a new iOS 7 update.

Named iOS 7.0.2, this update aims to fix the loophole and be able to provide peace of mind for owners of Apple products. In case you haven't made the jump to iOS 7 yet, you may want to take note that downgrading your version is impossible.

In Apple's announcement, the update will not only contain the workaround for the issue, but also a Greek keyboard which people can use for making passcodes.

Still, iOS 7.0.2 is first and foremost a security fix update.
