Jeff Daniels: "Dumb And Dumber Too" New Sequel Will Top Original- And The Best Part Is "Working With A Genius"

Jeff Daniels may have won the Emmy for Best Actor, but he is more excited to film "Dumb & Dumber 2!'. Daniels will soon head to Atlanta to film, he revealed.

Daniels can't wait to be back working with Jim Carrey, he said.

"The best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius," Jeff said about Jim Carrey.

What's the scariest thing, you might ask?

"The scariest thing? There are some things that's we're going to do in Dumb and Dumber 2 that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame," Daniels said.

"Pales in comparison and I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it," he added.

Daniels says the new sequel will be even better than the first one...and he's looking forward to reprising his role.

Daniels, 58, is excited to revive his "Dumb and Dumber" character, he says. "The intellectual free-fall from [Will] McAvoy to Harry Dunn, imagine if you will," he said.

Daniels just wrapped for season two of The Newsroom, where he plays Will McAvoy, but he's getting back to his roots to play Harry Dunn-and he says the new film will be even better than the original.

Dumb and Dumber came out in 1994, so the sequel will likely come out in 2014, as a sort of 20-year anniversary gift.

Oh, and that toilet scene? Watch below if you don't know what he's referencing. It's comedy gold.
