Miley Cyrus New Song "Drive" Lyrics About Liam Hemsworth Breakup, Written On Valentine's Day-- Months Before Public Split

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had a tumultuous breakup, as everyone knows. But way before the breakup, Miley wrote a song about wanting to leave Liam MONTHS before it was publicly announced.

Miley Cyrus has revealed she wrote the song "Drive", off her new album "Bangerz", about how she really felt about Liam when they were together.

"Drive" is a highly emotional track about Liam Hemsworth, written on Valentines Day-back in February, long before the split was publicly announced in September.

"I wrote ["Drive"] while I was working on Valentine's Day," Miley said. "Emotionally it was such a hard time. It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It's a time when you want to leave but you can't. It's also about moving on."

The only lyrics that have been leaked so far are, "We can just drive away from my troubles, drive far away where no one can find us, drive 'til our hands get blue and pain gets in our hearts."

"Drive" will be the ninth track on Miley's album Bangerz, which will hit stores on Oct. 4.

The split seemed to be along time coming, as the two appeared to be happy together in February-- but apparently problems were simmering for months before the public split.
