"The X Factor" alum Cher Lloyd is officially singing her own tune now as she prepares to release her second album, and "The X Factor USA" is about ready to fine their next star.

As fans may have seen if they attended Cher Lloyd's "I Wish" tour, the singer debuted a new song called "Dirty Love," and according to Billboard, it is a more mature affair than her first album.

"Basically, I talk about the fact that the guy is not giving me exactly what I want -- and when people listen to it, they'll understand exactly what I mean," says Lloyd.

"It's a touchy one, because, I played it to my mom and...she was shocked. So I'm a bit nervous."

Currently, Cher Lloyd is trekking along her "I Wish" U.S. tour with fellow "X Factor" alum Fifth Harmony to great fanfare.

Meanwhile, "The X Factor" USA has debuted their Top 40 acts in the categories of the Boys, Girls, Over 25's, and Groups.

According to Aceshowbiz, Kelly Rowland will mentor the Over 25's, Paulina Rubio will mentor the Boys, Demi Lovato will oversee the girls, and Simon Cowell will guide the groups.
