iPhone 6 Release Date Rumors: Apple’s Alleged iOS Phablet Sporting An A8 CPU And LiquidMetal Case Set To Arrive On March 2014?

After the massive reports about the arrival of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5c, the rumor mill seems to be in high gear now for iPhone 6 release date.

The rumors about iPhone 6 release date are continuously heating up, with most of them suggesting that the device may arrive on the first quarter of 2014. A report from International Business Times revealed a possible and a more specific timeframe for iPhone 6 release date. Accordingly, the arrival of the new Apple smartphone may be set for March 2014.

As older reports suggested, the iPhone 6 will be the phablet version of the Apple smartphone. Some of the rumored iPhone 6 specs are: 5-inch screen size with full-HD support, 12 MP camera, fingerprint sensor and an internal storage capacity which can be as high as 128 GB.

Moreover, recent talks about iPhone 6 release date and specs claimed that the alleged upcoming iOS phablet may sport an A8 processing chip, as well as a LiquidMetal case, as posted on a separate report from IB Times. Reportedly, the patent for this pioneering mobile device frame has already been filed in Europe. This innovative casing system, as stated on the report, will give opportunity for Apple to "forge its future iOS devices in irregular shapes," giving support to stories and concepts showing the device with a "wrap-around display screen."

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is also rumored to arrive on March. If this pans out, it could pose a threat to the Cupertino-based tech firm, especially if its recently released iPhones were unsuccessful. According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be filled with new and high-end superior features, which will "beat all other smartphones in the market."

Despite these quickly emerging rumors and speculations about iPhone 6 release date, Apple is still keeping its mum and not making any comments about them.
