"How I Met Your Mother" season 9, episode 3 airs tonight. Spoiler alert: Barney and Robin may have to deal with bears and old people in episode 3 of "How I Met Your Mother."

Season 9 of "HIMYM" revolves around Barney and Robin's wedding. Episode 3, titled "Last Time in New York," shows Barney and Robin anticipating the arrival of their elderly relatives to their wedding, Hypable reports.

Barney and Robin are able to share just a few precious final moments together before a shuttle bus announces the arrival of the very elderly and very slow portion of the wedding party.

The elderly relatives are visiting the Farhampton hotel and site of the wedding, and the promo trailer video shows that Barney and Robin know that the moment they get there, the potential for them to have fun is going to be extraordinarily small, Carter Matt reports.

Another thing that Robin has to deal with? Figuring out whether or not Barney is just pulling her leg, or really is bringing a bear to the wedding. That's right, folks: a bear.

The witty writers of "How I Met Your Mother" discovered that "ring bearer" sounds like a lot like "ring bear," and Robin can't seem to figure out which one Barney means. Well, we can't say Robin didn't know what she was getting herself into by marrying a character like Barney! It wouldn't be too above and beyond him to bring a bear to their wedding ceremony.

According to Hypable, it appears that a big theme of season 9 for Barney and Robin will be their fear that problems plaguing other couples will eventually interrupt their marital bliss.

Meanwhile, Ted makes a list of all the things he wants to do in New York before he moves to Chicago, but Lily is the only one who knows about his plans.
