Mad Men Season 7 Spoilers: Filming Begins November, Expanded To 14 Episodes Over 2014 And 2015, And Joan, Pete, Ted Spinoffs?

"Mad Men" season 7 may still be a ways away, but spoilers are already brewing regarding the expected "final season," spinoffs, and why it is being divided into two parts.

As fans may know, in similar fashion to "Breaking Bad," AMC has announced it will split "Mad Men" season 7 into two parts, to be aired in 2014 and 2015.

In exchange, however, "Mad Men" season 7 will have 14 episodes instead of the traditional 13, presumably with seven episodes per year.

According to Deadline, part 1 will air in the Spring of 2014, titled "The Beginning," while part 2 will air spring of 2015, titled "The End of an Era."

"This approach has worked well for many programs across multiple networks, and, most recently for us with 'Breaking Bad' which attracted nearly double the number of viewers to its second half premiere than had watched any previous episode," says AMC president Charlie Collier.

"We are determined to bring 'Mad Men' a similar showcase."

Meanwhile, filming for "Mad Men" season 7 (part 1 that is) will reportedly begin in November, as confirmed by actress Christina Hendricks.

But Henricks may have a hard time saying goodbye, as the actress joking says she will "stay at home and write little scenarios for Joan" once the show wraps.

And while we're talking spinoffs, actor Kevin Rahm also suggests a potential spinoff featuring his character Ted and Pete in Los Angeles.

"I keep working a spinoff angle. The spinoff is me and Pete, 'The Odd Couple' in L.A. but they're both dirty. Two Felixes," says Rahm to E!

Hey, "Breaking Bad" is getting its own spinoff, so anything's possible!
