Upcoming Windows Tablets 2013: Nokia's Tablet Okay With FCC, Will Support 4G LTE On Verizon, AT&T And T-Mobile

Last month, rumors surrounding the release of a first ever Windows-powered tablet by Nokia has made the rounds over the Web. After several alleged specifications were leaked a couple of weeks back, the tablet has earned the FCC's approval. In case you are looking for upcoming Windows tablets for 2013, this could be one of the best devices you can get your hands on.

Dubbed as the Nokia Lumia 2520, this tablet's FCC documents have allegedly been leaked. According to a report by TechnoBuffalo, the Finnish manufacturer submitted a 167-page document and tried its best not to leak too much information about their upcoming tablet. But apparently, one page got through.

The filing revealed that the Nokia tablet will support 4G LTE in three major carriers in the US, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.

In previous leaks, the tablet would feature a 10.1-inch screen at 1080p display, a quadcore Qualcomm processor, and Windows RT updated to Windows 8.1 out of the box.

Rumored pricing for the said tablet is $499, several dollars higher than Microsoft's Windows Surface 2's price tag of $449.
