GTA Online Release: Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V Online Version Now Live; Server Troubles Experienced By Ardent Gamers

GTA Online release happened around 7 am today, Tuesday, October 1.

Grand Theft Auto Online is the online multiplayer game version of Grand Theft Auto V, which allows the players to create gangs and complete heists. And just as expected, there are already emerging reports about server problems of the GTA Online.

But the creator of the game, Rockstar, already made warnings about the possibility that there might be issues with GTA online once launched. As posted on CNET, Rockstar shared last week that "it was doing all it could to buy and access servers to accommodate what was expected to be massive demand for its online title." It also said that connection issues may be experienced early on, and apparently, it did.

Here are some of the posts from Twitter users venting out their opinions, complaints and the issues they experienced with the release of GTA online earlier:

GTA Online comes free with a copy of Grand Theft Auto V which was released September 17. As posted on Kotaku, GTA Online is now live on Microsoft Xbox Live and Sony's PlayStation Network. The GTA Online arrives via a title update in both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

After installing the update, it will unlock the GTA Online in the game menu of the GTA V.
