Game Of Thrones Season 4 Updates [SPOILERS]: Joel Fry Joins Cast, George R.R. Martin Talks Purple Wedding, Natalie Dormer Talks Staying Alive

"Game of Thrones" season 4 production is well underway, and more cast and filming updates have surfaced.

Firstly, another actor is joining the massive "Game of Thrones" season 4 cast. Joel Fry has been cast as Hizdahr zo Loraq from the slaving colony Meereen, according to Variety.

No doubt Fry will have amble screentime with Emilia Clarke this season.

Another major "Game of Thrones" season 4 set piece that has been confirmed is what is dubbed as the "Purple Wedding."

"It's going to be the wedding of the year, and as memorable in its own way as our wedding last season," promises "Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin.

"It's what the fans call the Purple Wedding, based on the color of the wine, which plays a big part."

"Game of Thrones" fans are receiving many updates this week thanks to the many set photos being taken during the filming of the "Purple Wedding."

[SPOILERS]

Many fans who have read the book know that with the inclusion of the "Purple Wedding," fan anti-favorite Joffrey will soon meet his end. Cause for celebration?

Meanwhile, Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) is hoping against hope that her character stays alive in season 4, and her primary weapon will be psychoanalyzing characters like Joffrey.

"Whether it's Joffrey or Sansa or her brother, she knows how to handle people. She would probably make a very good therapist!" exclaims Dormer to Vanity Fair.

"When she talks to someone, she works out what that person wants. With Sansa, it's a family and to feel that sense of belonging again. Or with Joffrey, he wants violence and excitement. Margaery figures out what people want and is able to figure out a way to combine their interests with her interests, which is a very modern politician's perspective."

And in talking about dying on "Game of Thrones," "That's an occupational hazard when you are part of this show, you know?"
