Girl group SECRET's member Song Jieun participated in saving newborn babies through knitting beanies for the NGO "Save the Children" campaign.

Knitting beanies for newborn babies is for children being born in Africa or Asia, where they have a lower chance of survival due to lack of temperature control. People participating in the campaign knit the beanies themselves and send them over so that the children can wear them.

On November 24, Song Jieun posted on her Twitter, "I finally finished the beanie. I hope many people will participate to help the children with lower immunity" along with a picture.

In the piture, Song Jieun is holding the finished beanie on top of her head, smiling for the camera.

Song Jieun also said, "If you don't know how to knit, don't worry. If you go on the website for 'Save the Children', they give you step-by-step directions."

Internet users who saw this commented, "I want to try making one too," "Your heart is just as pretty as your face," etc.
