American Pokemon X and Y anime fans have something to celebrate today, as the recently aired Mega Evolution special will premiere on the Cartoon Network soon!

According to Serebii, part one of the Pokemon X and Y Mega Evolution anime special will air on May 31 at 8:00am EST on Cartoon Network. The TV Tokyo website recently revealed that part two of the Mega Evolution special will air sometime in the near future, but no Japanese air date has been given.

In case you don't know, the Mega Evolution special follows a new character named Alan, who plans to defeat every Mega Evolution known to man with his Mega Charizard. The X and Y anime special follows his journey to do so.

In the Pokemon X and Y anime special, Siebold of the Elite Four has already been featured in part one, along with his Mega Blastoise. It is also possible that Diantha will be shown next, given she has a Mega Gardevoir.

But fans won't have to wait to see Diantha in the anime, as she can be seen in the latest episode in Japan.

Episode 28 of the Pokemon X and Y anime features Ash meeting the Kalos League Champion, Diantha. Here, Ash learns about Mega Stones and witnesses a Mega Evolution for the first time with Gardevoir. It is likely Ash and Diantha will battle in the near future, so this is very exciting.
