Nexus 10 2 Release Date: Second-Gen Of 10-Inch Tablet Not Arriving Anymore As Google Plans To Drop Nexus Line? Search Giant To Replace It With Android Silver?

Nexus 10 2 release date may not happen anymore.

Recent tech rumors indicate that Nexus 10 2 release date will not push through anymore, as well as the launch for the successors of Nexus 7 and 6, as Google might pull the plug for its entire Nexus line.

According to a popular tipster, @evleaks, as cited on Android Origin, Google is planning to drop the entire Nexus line and reveal a new line of Android devices called Silver. This is despite previous rumors indicating that Google might reveal  a Nexus 10 or Nexus 8 during its I/O Conference to replace Nexus 10 2.

As posted on International Business Times, Android Silver program may begin on February 2015. And reportedly, the first product in line for the alleged Android Silver is an LG-manufactured smartphone.

Meanwhile, if Nexus 10 2 release date will still push through, the tablet may arrive later this year during the winter season. A post on Gamer Headlines reads:

"Don't expect the Nexus 10 2 to be arriving any time soon though. From all accounts, mass-production of the new model will begin sometime in late July or early August, which means the Nexus 10 2 will be landing sometime during the winter Holidays or late fall at the earliest."

As for the specs, Nexus 10 2 might be equipped with 10.1-inch screen with high-resolution and 330 PPI pixel density. It might be powered by 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or the NVIDIA Tegra 4, 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU, according to a report on Christian Today. Moreover, 16 GB and 32 GB models for Nexus 10 2 might be available in the market.
