The Evil Within Release Date Delayed! Survival Horror Title For PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 And PC Arriving In October 21; Get The Fighting Chance Pack As The Pre-Order Bonus

Unfortunately, ardent fans of the survival horror game will have to wait a bit longer as the Evil Within release date has been delayed.

Instead of August, gamers can now expect The Evil Within release date to happen on October. Particularly, the Evil Within release date for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game in the US is set for October 21.

Meanwhile, The Evil Within release date in Europe is now slated for October 24, as reported on Eurogamer.

The Evil Within, launching for PC, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and Xbox One, is the first game to be released from Shinji Mikam's Tango Gameworks Studio. Mikami is well known for the Resident Evil franchise.

Those who will order the game prior to the official The Evil Within release date for PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC will get a bonus item, which is the Fighting Chance Pack.

Reportedly, the Fighting Chance Pack comes with a "medical kit, green gel to upgrade the main character's attributes, a double-barrel shotgun with three shells, an incendiary agony bolt and a poison agony bolt, all of which should help you escape danger at least once or twice."

Explaining the cause of delay of The Evil Within release date, as cited on Attack of the Fanboy website, an email from the company reads, "Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks have asked for additional time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the polished, terrifying pure survival experience they set out to create."
