Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Lumia 530 With 4.3" Display Appears In Leaked Image, Still Bears Finnish Manufacturer's Label

In spite the sell out to Microsoft in the previous month, it looks like there are still upcoming Nokia phones in 2014 that we have not seen yet.

This year is one of those years where the Finnish manufacturer has been 'on a roll' in terms of releasing devices. In February, Nokia unleashed the Lumia Icon or 929 which headed to Verizon. Later in that month, it unveiled its first Android-powered devices, the Nokia X, X+ and XL.

Previous weeks have also pointed out that we may be expecting a Nokia X2 smartphone which would serve as a successor to the original Nokia X.

Meanwhile, during Microsoft's BUILD conference, the Finnish company announced the Nokia Lumia 930 and the Lumia 630/635 which both will run Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.

Now, a new report from GSM Arena points to a third smartphone which would bear the WP 8.1 branding.

Folks, meet the Nokia Lumia 530. In the image above, the 530 was compared side by side with its other Windows Phone 8.1 siblings and appears to resemble them in actual phone size.

However, the smartphone is only tipped to pack a 4.3-inch display, slightly higher than that of the Lumia 520, and a little shorter than the Lumia 635's 4.5-inch screen.

In the report, the Lumia 530's display could sport a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. In the image, the Nokia-made smartphone does not have any front-facing cameras which already tell its entry-level status.

No physical buttons are also present as Windows Phone 8.1 supports on-screen buttons in Nokia's new devices.

Another interesting factor to note here is that the Nokia branding is still on top of the device, not Microsoft's. We still cannot confirm if this trend will continue in spite Microsoft owning Nokia's mobile division which works on handsets like this one.
