Ahead of The Sims 4 release date, a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming title has been released!

The Sims 4 release date is still firmly scheduled for fall 2014, according to one of the latest tweets from SimGuruGraham. Rumors previously came out hinting that The Sims 4 release date will be delayed once again.

However, the game producer, Graham Nardone, clarified that The Sims 4 release date still has the same launch window, which is later this year during the fall season.

And as fans wait for The Sims 4 release date, EA has revealed another official gameplay trailer, which showcases the Build Mode of the game. This Sims 4 update features how easily one can construct homes and buildings. Furnishing the rooms, resizing and moving them can be done by simply clicking and dragging, as noted on Polygon.

As for other The Sims 4 news and updates, a post on SimsVIP reported that merchandising products for the game will be created by SteelSeries, which is "one of the global leaders in premium gaming gear," as described on an official press release.

Accordingly, SteelSeries will produce The Sims 4 Mouse, QCK Mousepad and Gaming Headset.

The official press release reads:

"The Sims 4 Gaming Headset and Mouse have been uniquely designed to immerse players even deeper into the emotional life of their Sims, extending their experience beyond the computer screen. For the first time, players will see just what their Sim in The Sims 4 is feeling through an illuminated Plumbob that lights and pulsates according to the level of emotion their Sim is experiencing."

Although The Sims 4 release date will not happen until later this year, fans of the game will not have to wait for so long to learn more and experience the game. EA has previously revealed that The Sims 4 will attend the E3 2014, which will take place in Los Angeles from June 10-12.
