Even though Ellen and Portia have been married for several years, sources started cropping up this year claiming that their marriage was on the rocks. According to Star Magazine's weekly cover issue, Ellem DeGeneres has been getting plastic surgery work done in an effort to quash divorce rumors with Portia De Rossi. Ellen apparently has had some minor work done. Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and TV actress Portia De Rossi married in 2008 in an intimate ceremony.

According to Gay Star News, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi divorce rumors will be a thing of the past as the couple will renew their wedding vows in a lavish ceremony in Sydney, Australia.

A source told the Daily Mail "They want it to be in Sydney because the city has a big gay population, and they want to help spur the acceptance of same-sex marriage." 

DeGeneres and de Rossi had an intimate, cozy, ceremony six years ago and what better way to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary than by renewing their wedding vows. Ellen, 56, and Portia, 41, were married in August 2008.

But sources claim Ellen and Portia have been fighting about having children. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi divorce rumors say Portia wants kids and Ellen is not interested.

Sources told OK! Magazine the couple "want to show their commitment to each other." The source continued "There have been a lot of headlines suggesting that their relationship is in trouble. They want to quash them. It's going to be something of a second honeymoon... a simple ceremony, followed by a beautiful dinner party for a few loved ones."

DeGeneres told People Magazine in January, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."

"She's taught me lessons about myself," DeGeneres said when the couple first got married, "and I feel like I've taught her. We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.'" Six years later they have found reason to celebrate a new completion, one filled with renewal.
