Recent news from several tech websites have been claiming that the new iPhone 6 release date would be on September 19, according to a message by a German carrier to its employees. But whether the date is accurate or not, we still cannot ensure whether it would be the device's announcement date or release in the market. 

According to a new report by GSM Arena, a leaked clip allegedly shows the new Apple smartphone in several slides which would be used during the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco beginning next week. 

If the 10-second video should be believed, then the iPhone 6 announcement date could be during the WWDC event, and September 19 would be the date when the device would officially hit the market in several countries around the world. 

Knowing Apple, this should be something interesting as the Cupertino manufacturer often sticks with its schedules for product releases every year. 

However, a comment by Anony in the GSM Arena post:

"I belive they're presenting the iPhone 6 or Air (or whatever) on monday because it's going to be such an upgrade from the 5 line, like the 4 was from the 3GS."

Indeed, Apple itself may be too excited to uncover its most awaited secret among Apple and mobile tech fans that it would be willing to move the iPhone 6 launch to an earlier date. Still, make sure you take all of this with a pinch of salt until Apple has made the announcement itself. 

For months, the iPhone 6 is expected to be the Cupertino manufacturer's biggest selling smartphone with its rumored 4.7-inch display, iOS 8, new A8 chip, and better Touch ID home button features. In addition, there is also a rumored 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6 which would rival top Android phablets in the market. But unlike the 4.7 incher, we haven't seen any signs of the Apple phablet.
