2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions: Roy Hibbert Traded? Lance Stephenson Leaving? Indiana Pacers Will Make Major Changes After Being Knocked Out By Miami Again!

The 2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions have added another prospect, the biggest one yet, in the Indiana Pacers. Their biggest player also, will be on the block.

Roy Hibbert went on a slump that brought about their struggles in the playoffs. After his breakout performance in last year's Eastern Conference Finals, he had a dominating start of the season. However, he seems to have regressed back to his old form.

Was it really that bad? Bad enough for the Pacers and the patient Larry Bird to trade him? ESPN has examined the situation: "There is said to be some thought on both sides -- management and Hibbert's -- that a fresh start would be beneficial for everyone after the big man's second-half decline.

Hibbert's camp hasn't outright asked for a trade, sources say, but word is that it wouldn't exactly oppose one if the Pacers decide to actively shop their center.

The problem, of course, is that Hibbert has two years on his contract valued at more than $30 million. Not only would it be tough to move him with that much guaranteed money left on his deal, but he also possesses the ability to opt out after next season if he has a big bounce-back year, which could give interest teams additional pause. So, it's tricky."

There would still be teams that would take a chance on Hibbert based on his moment of glory but the price is steep.

Another issue is free agent Lance Stephenson. It was an issue with Indiana on whether they could retain him or not. That doesn't seem to be the case now.

"Stephenson has turned off potential free-agent suitors with his unreliability -- ever since being snubbed for the Eastern Conference All-Star team -- as much or more than he's annoyed fellow Pacers. His free-agent market, according to the latest rumbles on the personnel grapevine, is already drying up. And it's not even June 1 yet."

"Born Ready" does not have a chance to redeem himself anymore since they are eliminated. The lingering memory about him will be the flopping memes and blowing in LeBron's ear. The Pacers may keep him for a discount.

Will we see a new retooled Pacers next season or will Larry Bird give this core a chance? Expect an active summer from Indiana.
