‘Amazing Spider Man 3' Spoilers: Venom, Harry Osborn Become Allies With Spidey Against Sinister SIx? Can Peter Parker Forgive His Ex-Best Friend?

"The Amazing Spider Man 3" will inevitably introduce the Sinister Six in some way. While it would be a thrill to see Spider Man against even more villains, it's hard to imagine how he can beat all of them alone.

Sony really took a risk when it sought to build a full-on movie universe to rival Marvel and Fox. While the Spider Man Universe is rife with colorful villains, the challenge of presenting them all together attacking Spidey will not result in a fair, exciting and realistic fight.

Since there are no other heroes under their rights, Peter Parker may need to overcome more than just awkward moments to find allies. Will he be able to do the unthinkable and forgive Harry Osborn if and when he has a change of heart?

What Culture explores that possibility:

"As things stand, the son of Norman Osborn is an outright villain. After Spider-Man refused to donate his blood as a potential means of curing Harry's genetic condition, citing the reasons that the effects could actually be negative, Harry deduces that Spider-Man is his old friend Peter Parker when he sees Gwen Stacy with him and attacks him using the Green Goblin equipment. The fight results in Gwen's death and Harry is subdued by Spider-Man and taken to the Ravenscroft Institute for the Criminally Insane.

Should Harry go on to join the Sinister Six, or witness the Sinister Six attacking his old friend Peter Parker, he may well feel some guilt and help the hero. That said, he will never fully redeem himself after his actions caused Gwen's death, but helping Peter in his time of need would at least go some way towards trying."

Another possible ally that may raise some eyebrows is Venom. While he has not been established as a villain in the new series (he hasn't been introduced), we do know that he will have his own movie-like Sony's anti-hero.

It's not a stretch of imagination to see Venom's interest align with Spidey, and it would be beneficial for him to be an ally against the Sinister Six among other villains.

"Venom is coming to the Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise (and will hopefully go a long way towards rectifying Topher Grace's horrible depiction of the character in Spider-Man 3, but that's beside the point). The character will get his own spin-off movie, with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Ed Solomon writing an instalment focused on Venom (with Kurtzman also directing).

Now, Venom is generally depicted and thought of as an outright villain - but that's not strictly true. The character has been depicted as heroic - in most cases as an anti-hero - and as such he could offer some help to Spider-Man in the Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise if he is portrayed as such."

Let's find out. "The Amazing Spider Man 3" will be released on June 10, 2016.
