2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions: Kevin Love Meets Rajon Rondo As He Visits Boston! Is He Ready To Move? David Ortiz Gives Advice!

An actual visit to a suitor's city ignites the 2014 NBA Free Agency Rumors & Predictions. The NBA's most coveted trade chip, Kevin Love went to Boston and all the Celtic fans went wild.

The Boston Celtics is one of the most storied franchises in NBA history with a very solid fan base. Thus, when their main prospect chooses to spend the spring in Boston, they would add it up. After all, Kevin Love won't be the first top power forward named Kevin to transfer from Minnesota.

The first reports were from Dirty Water News: "Right off the plane he headed to The Greatest Bar for dinner up in the mezzanine. He sat in The Greatest Bar with his to buddies for a couple hours and then Rumor has it he headed over to Rumor for a night cap!

When asked why he was in town he responded 'I'm here to just check out the city and see what it's like'... Tomorrow (actually today as it's 2am) he will be walking around the city checking out all the sights . We hear he is headed to Del Frisco's in this evening (Sat. Night). Sunday he will be going to the Red Sox game."

He also met up with Celtics superstar Rajon Rondo at Fenway Park when he watched the Boston Red Sox game. Rondo denied that he tried to pitch a transfer to his friend.

From ESPN: "Rondo, meeting with reporters Monday at the Celtics' training facility after watching the team work out 12 draft prospects, said his meeting with Love was brief and he held off on making a sales pitch on why Love should be in green."

Rondo's response was in jest: "No, the only pitch that was thrown I think was [Boston Red Sox pitcher] Jon Lester, he threw out a couple pitches. I didn't pitch anything. I just told [Love] to enjoy his time here."

Boston has a lot of pride in its sports teams and they also look out for each other. David Ortiz, star of the Boston Red Sox who hails from the Dominican Republic, volunteered to help out when the NBA star decides to move.
