iOS 8 Beta 3 Download To Be Made Avail. July 8; Consumer Release Of Mobile OS Coming Sept. W/ OS X Yosemite

iOS 8 beta 3 download will be available on July 8, exactly two weeks after the iOS 8 Beta 2’s release on June 24, the Next Digit reports. The newest mobile OS by Apple, which was unveiled during the company’s WWDC conference, will have a consumer release this September.

The Cupertino tech giant sticks to the routine of leaving a three-week gap between Beta releases since iOS 7 Beta 3 was released 14 days after the iOS 7 Beta 2 was made available. Next Digit notes that developers will use the Beta versions on test devices, but eager consumers can now try out the versions with several bugs and improvements.

BGR had predicted the upcoming availability date for the iOS 8 Beta 3 citing “trusted sources.” The research site also predicted the release of iOS Beta versions accurately.

The earlier released iOS 8 Beta 2 included a new Apple-made podcasts applications and a QuickType feature for the iPad for predictive text input, the Next Digit notes. The iOS 8 Beta 2 came with several improvements from Beta 1.

Apple has released six iOS 7 Beta versions before its final unveiling in 2013. The company had earlier provided Beta versions every two weeks during the release of the iO6.

The iOS 8 is designed to support third-party keyboards and Siri improvements for home appliances. A key feature of the iPhone 5S, the touch ID feature, will be available to developers. Apple’s Health app is also in the new OS, which will compile data and can send live updates through an app on the iPhone. Major issues faced by the iOS Beta 2 version is expected to be fixed in the upcoming Beta 3 version that will be released on Tuesday, July 8th, reports Next Digit.

Other new features in the iOS 8 include Wi-Fi calling, device enrollment, third-party enterprise apps, security passcodes, enhanced IT-management tools, and support for third-party keyboards.
