Carmelo Anthony Rumors: Veteran SF Meeting With The Bulls, Rockets This Week, Tyson Chandler Will Try To Lure Him Into Dallas?

As the free agency period officially begins tomorrow, reports are now arriving following the alleged schedule of former Scoring King Carmelo Anthony.

In the report by Bleacher Report, the veteran forward will be meeting first with the Chicago Bulls on the first day of his free agency, to be followed by the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks.

Last week, New York was not-so-shocked to know that their most priced player for the Knicks has opted out of his final year and will become a free agent beginning tomorrow.

Following reports told us that Knicks manager Phil Jackson has talked to Anthony which hinted that he would get paycut due to the new players which Jackson and new NY coach Derek Fisher would get to rebuild the Knicks.

It looked like Anthony was not pleased, and so decided to pursue free agency.

The Bulls is seen as a good team for Melo, and would certainly boost its offensive prowess which has been slowly deteriorating since Derrick Rose suffered an ACL injury a couple of seasons ago. Priced veteran and shooter Luol Deng has been traded, explosive guard Nate Robinson has already separated ways with the the team, and the only promising offensive threat for the Bulls is the ageing Carlos Boozer and Taj Gibson.

Melo, and hopefully Rose playing together would certainly spark a big comeback for Chicago which last stepped on the Eastern Conference Finals in 2011.

Meanwhile, Tyson Chandler who was traded back to the Dallas Mavericks after three seasons with the Knicks, has expressed his desire to lure Anthony to the team.

However, in another report, another possible destination for Anthony is the Phoenix Suns which have the ability to save enough cap space to sign him and fellow superstar and long-time friend LeBron James.

The Suns should certainly be the team-to-beat in case these two decides to sign contracts with the team.
