'Tha Carter 5' Release Date Announced By Lil Wayne: Weezy Forgets Release Date For His Own Album, Tracks That Don't Make Cut Titled 'Da Other Album' To Be Released In October [PHOTO]

Lil Wayne kind of accidentally let slip the release date for "Tha Carter 5" while speaking with MTV news while on set for the shoot for his video "Krazy." That is if he even knows when its coming out. Lil Wayne said he isn't sure when "Tha Carter 5" will be coming out, just that its in the next to months going on to add that he is "so not good" with remembering release dates.

"I think it drops either in September...and then we have...ah I can't tell you the sneak thing," he said smiling. "Anyway, yeah, I think it drops in September, or August, I don't know."

After realizing that the date could conflict with the Lil Wayne vs. Drake tour, he said that the album "might drop before then, in July" and finally just asked someone off camera for the answer. Unfortunately no one had a solid date for Weezy so he settled on "August 25, or something like that?"

Lil Wayne through around a couple of dates like August 25th and 29th. He also switched between the months of July, August, and September. The point is his final project will be out within a few months. And the tracks that didn't make the cut will be turned into a follow-up album called "D.O.A," which stands for "Da Other Album," scheduled to come out in October, two months after his final installment.

Wayne has said that he is done with solo albums. Back in March, before he started recording "Tha Carter 5" he said it would take "25 to 35 million [dollars]" to get him back in the studio producing another solo project. Although he's open to solo projects in the future, he says, "It seems like it'd be impossible for me to work this hard again for anything else."
