OnePlus One Shipments Get Delayed Again? This Time By Up To 20 Days

Announced back in April, the OnePlus One is certainly one of the most anticipated and intriguing handsets today. It is powered by CyanogenMod which is certainly a plus for people who prefer the cleaner version of Android.

Unfortunately, it is already three months and still the OnePlus One has not yet hit the market.

And to make matters worse, a report from GSM Arena says that the shipment date for the OnePlus-developed handsets has been moved by up to 20 days.

In the report, there has been a delay and the shipments would arrive in OnePlus' US and EU factories this week. Once they arrive, that is when they will begin shipping the device to people who have pre-ordered it.

Unfortunately, the report says that OnePlus did not bother to send out individual emails to their prospective buyers, and instead just updated their website regarding the latest update.

As a result of the delay, OnePlus is giving their buyers an option to request a refund in case they do not want to wait on the OnePlus One handset anymore.

Weeks before its launch in April, the OnePlus One has been the talk of the town with its high-end specs and very attractive price tag.

The device packs a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM and either a 16GB or 64GB built in storage with no microSD card slot.

Other specs include a 13MP primary camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front shooter, Adreno 330 GPU for superior graphics performance, a huge 3,100mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat out of the box with CyanogenMod 11S UI on top.

With all these juicy specs, the OnePlus One carries a price tag of only about $300. But now that it has taken the device way too long for a release, the once excited buyers may be thinking twice now.
