KISSme all over the world may have their hearts broken as one of the idol group's member, Kevin, officially leaves U-KISS and his agency after 9 years. NHemg has released an official statement on March 2 to address Kevin's departure.
According to the agency, Kevin's contract has officially ended as per March 2017, Soompi reported. NHemg also expressed its deep regret that such a talented idol like Kevin has to leave the agency. "Kevin debuted through U-KISS in 2008 and has been faithful and reliable as a member for nine years from the beginning to now," wrote the agency's representative. The statement was concluded with NHemg's apology for making KISSme worried because of the delay to announce the official statement as well as asking fans to keep supporting both U-KISS and Kevin after the departure.
Kevin also has written a farewell letter to KISSme as he departed from the group. In his hand-written letter, Kevin stated that he apologizes to all of his fans who were surprised by the unfortunate events. He also revealed that he has been under a lot of consideration and discussion with his agency and family before he made the decision. Asia Starz suggests, before the departure, Kevin was scheduled to promote U-KISS' new project to both domestic and overseas market. The now former member of U-KISS also promises to fans that he will work hard in the future to repay the endless generous supports from fans ever since he debuted with U-KISS nine years ago.
The sad news clearly makes KISSme devastated. However, fans have been offering their thoughts and supports for Kevin. U-KISS reportedly plans to release its new album "Stalker" in June after more than a year of the production process. On top of their return, U-KISS also announced that most of its album sales will be given for charity to provide assistance for disabled artists. After Kevin's departure, U-KISS will promote as a five-member group. Best of luck for both U-KISS and Kevin!
