GOT7 News & Updates: GOT7 Members Reveal That 'Stress' Got Jackson Ill On 'M Countdown', Is GOT7's Jackson Back?

GOT7 performed their newest song "Never Ever" on Mnet's "M Countdown" on Friday, March 24. Unfortunately, member Jackson was still not with the group due to his sickness.

But what really got GOT7's Jackson? According to Koreaboo, members reveal that Jackson falling ill was because of extreme stress. They also revealed that Jackson was showing signs of anemia.

As previously reported, Jackson suddenly fell ill during the group's "Excursion with GOT7" fan meeting on March 11. The fan meeting started off very well, and members were in their best mood when Jackson suddenly vomited. Eyewitnesses even stated that the poor member fell off of his chair and became unconscious for a short while.

Jackson was immediately sent to the hospital. The next day, GOT7's agency JYP Entertainment released a statement regarding Jackson's status.

JYP Entertainment had decided on March 12 that member Jackson was to stop all his participation for GOT7's promotions for their latest album "Never Ever". The agency also stated that they put their talent's health first before anything else.

JYP Entertainment also added that Jackson will be rejoining GOT7 on March 19, but it never happened. The agency stated that Jackson's doctor insisted that he gets more time to recover.

Because of this, Jackson was not able to celebrate with the group as GOT7's "Never Ever" was a success, not just in Asia, but internationally. It even made its way into the European countries of Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and as well as in the United States.

However, the agency released a statement and revealed that Jackson is now okay to rejoin his brothers in GOT7!

In JYP's statement, Jackson's break was only until Friday, March 24. The K-pop idol will then start participating in GOT7's promotions on Saturday, March 25.

"We sincerely appreciate all the fans that have waited and given support," said JYP Entertainment on March 23. The agency also added that they will continue to put not just GOT7's Jackson' health first, but as well as all other artists under JYP.
