Following BTS' momentous win at Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards, BTS is thinking up of reaching bigger goals for the future of their music. Among those goals is having a stadium tour similar to Michael Jackson's world tour.
According to a report by All Kpop, Rap Monster shared in an interview with the 'Kim Hyun Jung's News Show' that BTS wants to have their own stadium tour in the future. He said that their goal is to fill stadiums that hold at least 30,000-40,000 people and bring their music all over the world.
BTS is currently on the final leg of their WINGS Trilogy Live tour which brought the boys to Chile, Brazil, the US, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong and soon, Australia and Japan. BTS managed to fill major arenas to the rafters which even called for organizers to schedule additional nights to accommodate the demands of the fans. Aside from this, the boys have consistently maintained their position on major charts like iTunes, Billboard, and Oricon.
Rap Monster also said that they would like to work with another K-pop group, HIGHLIGHT, formerly known as BEAST. The BTS leader said that their group has looked up to HIGHLIGHT since they first saw the group in action in 2012 which inspired them to work as hard as they have to become like their seniors.
According to Billboard, Rap Monster, in his speech for the Billboard Music Awards, said that they owe much of their success to their loyal legion of fans called the ARMY, whose devotion that helped BTS music reach all corners of the world. BTS, who were overwhelmed by the loud cheers that greeted their victory at the high-profile awards show, gave the credit to their supporters and promised to work even harder, moving forward.
"We still cannot believe we're standing here on this stage at the Billboard Music Awards," BTS leader Rap Monster said. "Most importantly, this award belongs to the every people all around the world that shine the love and light on us by the million and make BTS proud."
