It wasn't too long ago that a small studio developed a video game demo for "To the Edge of the Sky," a game based on K-pop group BTS with characters inspired by its members Rap Monster, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope and V. According to Aeon Dream Studio, the team behind the fan-made demo, the game was intended to bring BTS closer to their international fans and now they're making it available in different languages as well.
According to an interview with SBS Pop Asia, Aeon Dream Studios developers have announced that they're making the BTS game "To the Edge of the Sky" available in Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, and Polish. They're also planning to release the game in Russian, Thai, Dutch and Danish with the help of BTS ARMY translators.
Aeon Dream Studios is also busy developing an Android version for "To the Edge of the Sky" to make the BTS game available to ARMY members who want to play the game on mobile. Of course, an iPhone version is not far behind to make sure that the team covers all bases as ARMY fans around the globe want to play the game as well.
Based on Aeon Dream Studio's official blog, a famous youtuber has also finished recording his playthourgh of the game. While they have not yet revealed who the youtuber is, fans are expecting the mystery person to be a fan of BTS as well.
According to the BTS game's synopsis, "To the Edge of the Sly" is a futuristic game which features characters that are based on BTS characters. Player will get to work with the characters to complete a series of missions as members of an elite government organization called P.H.A.N.T.A.S.M.
In an earier interview with the Daily Dot , Aeon Dream Studios CEO Ajané J.K. Celestin said they were in the process of contacting Big Hit Entertainment to get their consent before they develop a full game. As fans of the K-pop group, the CEO said that they want to involve the label to ensure that the game will stay true to the BTS trademark.
