Is Soojin Returning to (G)I-DLE? Here's Why Neverlands Think So

A video released by (G)I-DLE is now sparking speculation that Soojin may be returning to the group. Keep on reading for all the details.

On February 19, 2024, (G)I-DLE uploaded a video titled "'Revenge' : CASE FILE (G)" to their YouTube channel. The video is a continuation of their most recent music video, "Revenge," showing the aftereffects of the murder from the story.

To be specific, the continuation is told from an outsider's point of view. The person talks about what happened to each member, who all played different roles, after they successfully murdered Shuhua's abuser.

The person reveals they found the truth about the case but chose to keep their mouth shut. With that, they also became an accomplice to the murder.

What surprised people was that in the drawings of the girls, viewers could see six people. The faces of five girls are visible, while one is hidden in the shadows. People believe this alludes to the fact that (G)I-DLE is currently a five-member group, but originally debuted as six.

People also believe the narrator of the story could be Soojin; someone who is hidden and not involved in the activities of (G)I-DLE, but is still a presence that lingers.

With (G)I-DLE and Jeon Soyeon in particular being in charge of the group's creative direction and process, many believe this could signal Soojin's return to the group. After all, this is not the first time Soojin was referenced in (G)I-DLE's work after her departure.

For the "Revenge" music video, six pairs of fingerprints were seen on a document, despite only having five members. Her birthday in 2021 was also seen on a document. This is a huge hint, as Soojin's birthday in 2021 was the last time anything was mentioned about her in relation to (G)I-DLE.

While some believe Soojin re-joining the group is too risky both for her and (G)I-DLE, many are still hopeful that this is a sign of her slowly becoming a member again.
